SNITCH, an innovative service created by Chaz Stevens, has officially launched to assist Florida residents in reporting local code violations anonymously. Prompted by concerns around Florida’s SB 60 law—which bans anonymous code violation reports—SNITCH allows residents to maintain privacy while ensuring complaints are heard. Users provide complaint details to SNITCH, which verifies and submits these issues under its own name, keeping clients’ identities confidential. SNITCH emphasizes ethics, fairness, and community well-being, aiming to improve neighborhoods by addressing everyday concerns, reducing conflicts between neighbors, and enhancing civic engagement. The platform seeks to restore trust in local governance by making the code enforcement process more responsive and transparent, without fostering neighborhood disputes.
