Terms of Service – Free Complaint Report Creation

Complaint Report Creation Only: SNITCH provides clients with assistance in creating code enforcement complaint reports. Our free service generates a PDF report based on information provided by the client, which the client can then submit directly to code enforcement authorities. SNITCH does not submit complaints on behalf of clients for this free service.

Client Responsibility for Complaint Content: The client affirms that all provided information is accurate and truthful to the best of their knowledge at the time of the report creation. SNITCH performs basic due diligence but does not independently verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or legal validity of the content included in the report.

No Anonymous Complaint Guarantee: Under Florida state law, anonymous code violation complaints are not actionable by enforcement authorities. Clients are responsible for providing their accurate and truthful personal information within the report for it to be considered valid.

Limited Liability: SNITCH assumes no liability for:

* Any false, misleading, or inaccurate information included by the client.
* Actions or inactions by code enforcement authorities following submission by the client.
* Consequences directly or indirectly resulting from report submission, including fines, legal actions, or retaliation.

Legal Compliance and Disclosure: SNITCH fully complies with lawful disclosure requests, including court orders, subpoenas, or statutory obligations. Unless legally required, SNITCH will not voluntarily disclose client identities.

Municipal Opt-Out Option: SNITCH respects jurisdictional requests from municipalities that prefer to opt out of our reporting services. Upon such request, we will exclude those jurisdictions from our service.

No Guarantee of Enforcement Action: Creation and provision of a complaint report by SNITCH does not guarantee any action by code enforcement authorities. Each jurisdiction determines its own response procedures and enforcement priorities.

Important Notice:

All paid complaints filed through SNITCH will be submitted under our name, clearly indicating they're filed on a client's behalf, in compliance with Florida’s transparency requirements.
