Dunedin code enforcement complaints
City desk. Not Pinellas County.
Inside city limits, Dunedin code complaints go to the City’s Code Compliance Division in the Community Development Department.
SNITCH is a private filing service, not the City. We file as complainant of record. Your name stays off the complaint.
Compliant with Florida SB 60.
Filed with Dunedin Code Compliance under our name.
Fear of Retaliation
Dunedin puts it this way: “The Code Compliance Division will not initiate enforcement proceedings for a potential violation by way of an anonymous complaint.” File it yourself and that record is public under Chapter 119.
Who Handles It
Inside Dunedin: Dunedin Code Compliance. Unincorporated Pinellas: Pinellas County Code Enforcement Division. Other cities run their own desks.
Agent Filing Rules
We file under our name with the desk that owns the address. If that shop bounces a third-party complainant, that filing does not sit there.

"SNITCH cuts through red tape—handling your code complaints professionally, safely, and always in compliance with Florida law.
- Chaz Stevens, Chief Snitch
We file the real ones.
We reject the rest.

City code. Not a grudge.
Every submission is checked against the Dunedin code, including Chapter 22, Code Enforcement. Hearsay, neighbor wars, and junk filings do not go out. A false complaint is on the client.
Issues Dunedin highlights: short-term vacation rental registration, civil citations for boats and trailers, snipe signs and flutter flags, and code enforcement liens.
FL SB 60
Why It Matters
SB 60 DID NOT END DUNEDIN COMPLAINTS
Florida law requires a name and address before most code investigations start. File direct with Dunedin Code Compliance and that name is public. SNITCH files as complainant of record.
Compliant filing. Our name on the paper.
See something. File it without becoming the file.

FAQS
Who handles code enforcement in Dunedin?
The City of Dunedin Code Compliance Division, part of the Community Development Department. Call (727) 298-3000. Online, use Report a Violation Online (Jotform).
Is my address Dunedin or Pinellas County?
Dunedin handles addresses inside its city limits. Unincorporated Pinellas goes to Pinellas County Code Enforcement Division at (727) 464-4761. A Dunedin mailing address is not always inside the city.
Can I rent my Dunedin home as a short-term vacation rental?
Only where zoning allows it. Rentals under 90 days are prohibited in residential zoning districts, and where they are allowed the owner must get a short-term vacation rental registration from the City.
Can I report a code violation in Dunedin anonymously?
Not to the city. Dunedin says: “The Code Compliance Division will not initiate enforcement proceedings for a potential violation by way of an anonymous complaint.” SNITCH is not anonymous either: we file under our own name as complainant of record, so yours stays off the complaint.
What happens if a violation is not fixed?
Unresolved Dunedin code cases go before the Code Enforcement Board. The Dunedin Code Enforcement Board (seven members, two alternates) meets the first Tuesday of each month at City Hall, 737 Louden Ave.
Is my name on the complaint? What if a desk will not take an agent filing? Our FAQs answer both.
