Ocoee code enforcement complaints

City desk. Not Orange County.

Inside city limits, Ocoee code complaints go to the City’s Code Enforcement Division in the Ocoee Police Department.

SNITCH is a private filing service, not the City. We file as complainant of record. Your name stays off the complaint.

Compliant with Florida SB 60.
Filed with Ocoee Code Enforcement under our name.

Fear of Retaliation

Ocoee puts it this way: “Per Florida Statute 162.21, anyone submitting a code violation report must provide their name and address.” File it yourself and that record is public under Chapter 119.

Who Handles It

Inside Ocoee: Ocoee Code Enforcement. Unincorporated Orange: Orange County Code Compliance. Other cities run their own desks.

Agent Filing Rules

We file under our name with the desk that owns the address. If that shop bounces a third-party complainant, that filing does not sit there.

How It Works

Address first. Ocoee or Orange County second. Then we file.
How This Works

"SNITCH cuts through red tape—handling your code complaints professionally, safely, and always in compliance with Florida law.
- Chaz Stevens, Chief Snitch

We file the real ones.
We reject the rest.

City code. Not a grudge.

Every submission is checked against the Ocoee code, including Chapter 7, Enforcement of Code. Hearsay, neighbor wars, and junk filings do not go out. A false complaint is on the client.

Issues Ocoee highlights: building without a permit, trailers parked in front of the setback, junk vehicles, and minimum standards inspection when water service starts.

FL SB 60

Why It Matters

SB 60 DID NOT END OCOEE COMPLAINTS

Florida law requires a name and address before most code investigations start. File direct with Ocoee Code Enforcement and that name is public. SNITCH files as complainant of record.

Compliant filing. Our name on the paper.

See something. File it without becoming the file.

FAQS

Who handles code enforcement in Ocoee?

The City of Ocoee Code Enforcement Division, part of the Ocoee Police Department. Call (407) 905-3106. Online, use Online Code Enforcement Reporting Form.

Is my address Ocoee or Orange County?

Ocoee handles addresses inside its city limits. Unincorporated Orange goes to Orange County Code Compliance at 311 or (407) 836-3111. A Ocoee mailing address is not always inside the city.

Why is Ocoee inspecting my rental when I start water service?

Under Chapter 108 of the city code, Ocoee Code Enforcement performs minimum standards inspections on all buildings when water service is initiated.

Can I report a code violation in Ocoee anonymously?

Not to the city. Ocoee says: “Per Florida Statute 162.21, anyone submitting a code violation report must provide their name and address.” SNITCH is not anonymous either: we file under our own name as complainant of record, so yours stays off the complaint.

What happens if a violation is not fixed?

Unresolved Ocoee code cases go before a Code Enforcement Board or a Special Magistrate. The Code Enforcement Board meets the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 1 N. Bluford Ave.

Is my name on the complaint? What if a desk will not take an agent filing? Our FAQs answer both.
