Ocala code enforcement complaints
City desk. Not Marion County.
Inside city limits, Ocala code complaints go to the City’s Code Enforcement Division in Growth Management.
SNITCH is a private filing service, not the City. We file as complainant of record. Your name stays off the complaint.
Compliant with Florida SB 60.
Filed with Ocala Code Enforcement under our name.
Fear of Retaliation
Ocala puts it this way: “Anonymous reports not accepted.” File it yourself and that record is public under Chapter 119.
Who Handles It
Inside Ocala: Ocala Code Enforcement. Unincorporated Marion: Marion County Code Enforcement. Other cities run their own desks.
Agent Filing Rules
We file under our name with the desk that owns the address. If that shop bounces a third-party complainant, that filing does not sit there.

"SNITCH cuts through red tape—handling your code complaints professionally, safely, and always in compliance with Florida law.
- Chaz Stevens, Chief Snitch
We file the real ones.
We reject the rest.

City code. Not a grudge.
Every submission is checked against the Ocala code, including Chapter 34, Environment. Hearsay, neighbor wars, and junk filings do not go out. A false complaint is on the client.
Issues Ocala highlights: boats and trailers must be parked in the backyard, weeds and grass over 12 inches, abandoned or untagged vehicles, and snipe signs in the right-of-way.
FL SB 60
Why It Matters
SB 60 DID NOT END OCALA COMPLAINTS
Florida law requires a name and address before most code investigations start. File direct with Ocala Code Enforcement and that name is public. SNITCH files as complainant of record.
Compliant filing. Our name on the paper.
See something. File it without becoming the file.

FAQS
Who handles code enforcement in Ocala?
The City of Ocala Code Enforcement Division, part of Growth Management. Call (352) 629-8309. Online, use Report a Code Violation (online form). Email: codeenforcement@ocalafl.gov.
Is my address Ocala or Marion County?
Ocala handles addresses inside its city limits. Unincorporated Marion goes to Marion County Code Enforcement at (352) 671-8900. A Ocala mailing address is not always inside the city.
How do I look up a Ocala code violation?
Use eTRAKiT Code Enforcement Case Search on the City’s website.
Can I park my boat or trailer in my driveway in Ocala?
No. The city says parking a boat or trailer in the front or side of a residential property is a violation; they must be parked in the backyard (Sec. 122-1193).
Can I report a code violation in Ocala anonymously?
Not to the city. Ocala says: “Anonymous reports not accepted.” SNITCH is not anonymous either: we file under our own name as complainant of record, so yours stays off the complaint.
What happens if a violation is not fixed?
Unresolved Ocala code cases go before a Code Enforcement Board or a Special Magistrate. The Municipal Code Enforcement Board meets the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Is my name on the complaint? What if a desk will not take an agent filing? Our FAQs answer both.
