Coral Springs code enforcement complaints

City desk. Not Broward County.

Inside city limits, Coral Springs code complaints go to the City’s Code Compliance in Development Services.

SNITCH is a private filing service, not the City. We file as complainant of record. Your name stays off the complaint.

Compliant with Florida SB 60.
Filed with Coral Springs Code Compliance under our name.

Fear of Retaliation

Coral Springs puts it this way: “In compliance with Florida law, neighbors will be required to provide their name and address when filing a complaint.” File it yourself and that record is public under Chapter 119.

Who Handles It

Inside Coral Springs: Coral Springs Code Compliance. Unincorporated Broward: Broward County Code Compliance. Other cities run their own desks.

Agent Filing Rules

We file under our name with the desk that owns the address. If that shop bounces a third-party complainant, that filing does not sit there.

How It Works

Address first. Coral Springs or Broward County second. Then we file.
How This Works

"SNITCH cuts through red tape—handling your code complaints professionally, safely, and always in compliance with Florida law.
- Chaz Stevens, Chief Snitch

We file the real ones.
We reject the rest.

City code. Not a grudge.

Every submission is checked against the Coral Springs code, including Chapter 8, Property Maintenance. Hearsay, neighbor wars, and junk filings do not go out. A false complaint is on the client.

Issues Coral Springs highlights: commercial and recreational vehicle parking hours, inoperative vehicles and parking on unpaved areas, exterior paint color and building maintenance, and landscaping and outside storage.

FL SB 60

Why It Matters

SB 60 DID NOT END CORAL SPRINGS COMPLAINTS

Florida law requires a name and address before most code investigations start. File direct with Coral Springs Code Compliance and that name is public. SNITCH files as complainant of record.

Compliant filing. Our name on the paper.

See something. File it without becoming the file.

FAQS

Who handles code enforcement in Coral Springs?

The City of Coral Springs Code Compliance, part of Development Services. Call (954) 344-5964. Online, use My Coral Springs. Email: code@coralsprings.gov.

Is my address Coral Springs or Broward County?

Coral Springs handles addresses inside its city limits. Unincorporated Broward goes to Broward County Code Compliance at 311 or (954) 831-4000. A Coral Springs mailing address is not always inside the city.

Can I park my boat, RV or trailer in my driveway overnight in Coral Springs?

The City says commercial and recreational vehicles (boats, motorhomes, trailers) may not be parked between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday, or at all on Sunday. Vehicle and parking complaints go to the Public Safety non-emergency line, (954) 344-1800.

Can I report a code violation in Coral Springs anonymously?

Not to the city. Coral Springs says: “In compliance with Florida law, neighbors will be required to provide their name and address when filing a complaint.” SNITCH is not anonymous either: we file under our own name as complainant of record, so yours stays off the complaint.

What happens if a violation is not fixed?

Unresolved Coral Springs code cases go before a Special Magistrate. Uncorrected cases go to the City's Special Magistrate, who can impose daily fines and liens; the current docket is posted on the Code Compliance page.

Is my name on the complaint? What if a desk will not take an agent filing? Our FAQs answer both.
